Please note
that by booking a stay at Honeysuckle Cottage you are agreeing
to the Rental Conditions below. |
 |
Honeysuckle
Cottage is suitable and equipped for four people only and this
is the maximum number permitted. |
|
|
Weekly
lettings ordinarily run from Saturday to Saturday. The cottage
will be ready for you by 2.30 pm on your arrival day. Please vacate
the cottage by 10 am on the day of departure. |
|
| |
Rates are subject to
change without prior notice and are only guaranteed by confirmed
reservation. |
|
| |
The
rental rate covers all bed linen, bath towels and tea towels as
well as usage of gas, water and
electricity and telephone for local and incoming calls.
|
|
| |
Broadband
is provided on the understanding that it will be used for
‘reasonable’ traffic only. Please let us know if you wish to
make use of our broadband facilities and the current code will
be sent to you when we send you the directions to the cottage.
This code should not be passed on to anyone else and you will
need to take a suitable wireless-enabled laptop with you. No
responsibility can be accepted for the loss of service or data. |
|
| |
The cottage
is non-smoking throughout for the comfort of all our visitors.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate any pets in the
cottage. |
|
| |
We ask for
a non-refundable deposit of 25% to secure your
booking, the balance being payable a minimum of eight weeks before
your arrival. Should the balance not be received by the due
date, unless previously arranged otherwise, we reserve the right
to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. |
|
| |
Visitors
will be charged for any repairs, replacements and/or
extraordinary cleaning made necessary as a result of their stay.
No charge will be made for normal wear and tear or the
accidental breakage of a small item such as a glass or plate. We
ask you to replace accidentally damaged items where possible and
to report this on your departure. More substantial breakages should be
brought to our attention or to that of our representatives
(phone numbers in cottage) as soon as possible so that
replacements may be obtained or defects remedied. |
|
| |
We or our
representatives should be allowed reasonable access into the
cottage as and when required. |
|
| |
For your
safety, we advise you to read the advice on fire safety in the
ring binder in the cottage. |
|
| |
In your own
interests, we advise you to take out insurance in case of cancellation.
Should you be obliged to cancel part or whole of the rental
period, we will endeavour to
re-let wherever possible, in which case any payment made by you
in respect of the rental period, with the exception of the
initial deposit, will be refunded. |
|
| |
Should the property not
be available or be rendered inaccessible for all or part of the
rental period due to circumstances beyond our control or if the
property has become unfit for letting due to damage by previous
lettings or if for any reason we are not able to comply with
this agreement, our liability shall be limited to the refund of
all rental charges paid in respect of the period of
unavailability. We shall not be liable for any compensation,
expenses, costs or for other sums of any description (including
the cost of securing alternative accommodation). |
|
| |
The use of
the accommodation, equipment and amenities is entirely at the
users’ risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any
accidents, injury or theft, or for any temporary defect or
stoppage in the supply of public services, or in respect of any
equipment, machinery or appliance anywhere on the premises, or
for any loss, damage or injury caused by matters beyond our
control. We advise you to take out adequate holiday insurance to
cover accidents, public liability, etc. |
|
| |
We will
endeavour to have any faulty equipment repaired or replaced as
soon as possible and ask that you notify us or our
representatives of any such defective items. However, no claims
will be accepted in respect of equipment which remains faulty
for reasons beyond our control. |
|
| |
In no way are we responsible or liable for any loss,
inconvenience or extra costs related to this holiday, whatever
the cause. |
|
| |
In
your own interests, you are strongly recommended to take out
adequate insurance cover, including for personal liability. |
|
| |
We
aim to do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as
possible, and would therefore appreciate any feedback you may
have. Any comments or suggestions for improvements in and around
the house would be very welcome (see the suggestions box in the
cottage). |
|
|
Finally, may we wish you a very pleasant stay! |
